why we went: This was our first RV destination and camping spot on the Oregon Coast. We originally planned to travel east when we left Idaho, but closing on our house took a little longer than we expected. We anticipated better weather traveling down the West coast.
when we went: Mid-October
what we found: A nice large campground with several loops, water and electric, but no sewer hookups. Playground, hiking trails, decent bathrooms and showers.
how long we were there: 5 nights
what it cost: $153
what we thought: We loved listening to the ocean at night. Our spot was just over the dunes from the beach. We walked 2 miles on the beach to the little town of Manzanita.
