Got up early to drive to Ocean Springs for donuts at Tato-nuts. They are made from scratch with potato flour. They were very good, I’ve been eating the leftovers all day. I may have to go back which should be possible because John added two nights to our stay. Ugh. That means I’m going to have to use the shower here.
We plan to be here another couple nights, then spend a couple nights at Jeff and Lori’s, and then to Huntsville, I think. There’s a Thousand Trails between the Beamans and Huntsville, but it looks cold there.
I finally got John started on his website today. I hope he got it setup. Now I need to signup with a blog hosting site. I am going to create a website. I am going to blog. I am going to post my thoughts and reflections for everyone to see. That takes some guts, doesn’t it? I had an idea about what could be helpful and interesting, though. I could write about what it’s like to do some of the things we’ve done. Like a play-by-play of walking up to an attraction, or buying tickets, or doing the junior ranger thing, or visiting a certain area.
Figuring out how to ride the cable cars in San Francisco was a pain in the ass. I didn’t really know what to expect when we visited Tillamook. Going to Joshua Tree was more fun than I expected. I felt like we wasted time running around Sedona. The Houston Children’s Museum was great. I guess one could look at Tripadvisor for reviews and websites for information, but if a reader likes what I say and thinks I’m trustworthy, my site could become a reliable source.
