Nice day. Started with hot yoga, after a brief bout of pissy attitude in bed. I felt better after sweating for 90 minutes, even though John was still making me drive.
On the way to City of Rocks State Park, John got mad when another driver didn’t let him over as our lane was closing ahead. I said something. It pissed him off. He said he was done with driving.
We stopped at Sparky’s in Hatch on the way back. John ordered the famous green chile cheeseburger. I had one bite and it was wonderful. I wish they sold beer. How can you have an awesome burger and not sell beer? And why didn’t I get one of those cheeseburgers?
So yoga was good. We did hot yoga here three times and yin yoga once. (Downtown Desert Yoga offered a first-time deal, $20/10 days of classes) I think we’re going out for breakfast instead of yoga tomorrow. There’s a meditation at 8am, but John’s not interested. I am. I determined today that I am not very far along in my spiritual quest. I am no farther along than anyone else in my family. Sometimes I think I act like it. I’m just as petty, judgmental, fearful, angry as anyone else.
We went to Las Cruces Farmers (though mostly crafters) Market. We bought some yummy fun stuff, and the girls got their faces painted by an awesome couple for free. Then we went to a winery pizzeria, Luna Rossa, for lunch. That was very nice. Nice wine tasting tree. Santa was there.
Now we’re about to have steaks that we bought at the market. (They were really good.)
