I guess it depends what group you’ve grown up with and what its imposed/assumed path is. What does everyone around you expect to happen? Will you . . . Graduate high school and get a job? Join the military and get married? Go to college, get a desk job, get married? Take over the family business? Drop out of high school, get pregnant, try to keep your head above water? Go to college, go to grad school, go to another grad school . . .
